Done right, a successful turkey hunt ends with just a single shot, well placed, on a (somewhat) stationary turkey that has been called into a reasonable, ethical range. Unlike waterfowling and other wingshooting, where targets and shots often come in multiples, turkey hunting should require just one pull of the trigger. So, does that mean a lightweight, break-action shotgun is all turkey hunters really need?
